Special Event February 22, 2025
We are canceling the workday for February 22 in order to help our partner, HCA with their event at Giggle Hill. Everyone is welcome, so drop by! We will be back on schedule in March. See you then!
Plant Restoration
Non-native species abound across much of Hawai’i. Our goal is to restore many of the native plants of the area within the Hamakualoa Open Space Preserve.
Restore Streams
Ka Wai Ola – Water is life. This was an important concept to Hawaiians, and remains so everywhere.
Community
The Hamakualoa lands supported a large population of people in previous times. It was a shared resource in the ‘ahupua’a system. Restoring the lands to a community asset is an important goal for us.
