Malama Days
We have a monthly Malama Day in which you just show up and help with a work party for about 2-3 hours. It is at 9am, on the last Saturday of each month and we usually meet at the Hahana Rd entrance to the Hamakuloa Open Space Preserve. Tools will be provided. Bring a hat and good shoes as it can be muddy.
Projects we need help with
- Site cleanup
- Removing invasive species
- Planting
- Watering
- Monitoring the site for trash, damage, or plants needing attention
- Cutting trails
- Making signs
