Waldorf Haleakala School Field Trip
November 9th, Waldorf Haleakala School made a field trip to Hamakua Open Space to help with restoring the land. They started out with a short cultural introduction given by Leilani, and then spent a couple of hours working on various projects like painting, setting traps for LFA (little fire ants), cleaning the land of debris, and planting trees. The trip was closed with an oli (chant) from Leilani, and a little hukihuki.
